End of Garden Season (2018)

I thought I’d wrap up the garden season with a look at my favorite photos from this year. So here goes, it’s been a beautiful year. Spring started in the greenhouse this year. The Purdue Bound students started seeds for tomatoes 🍅 and zinnias which we eventually moved to the courtyard and then enjoyed throughout the season.

It’s amazing how many tomatoes we harvested.

The baseball team came out to spread mulch and get the garden ready to be planted. They also helped put together the garden furniture I purchased to allow students to eat lunch out in the courtyard.

The Life Skills classes planted the raised beds and had a stunning array of cabbages and kale to eat throughout the season.

I had a lot of different volunteer groups throughout the year. Thanks to all that helped. ❤️

I had a logo created for my non for profit and had t-shirts and aprons made to help raise money to build a stage in the courtyard for concerts and performances.

I can’t wait to see what next year will bring.  – Cathy
